Martin Guas is a singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist from La Plata, Argentina.
Surrounded by musicians and instruments in his parent's music shop, he started his musical education when he was only three years old. As a recipient of a full scholarship, he finished his studies at Berklee College of Music and rapidly was offered to join the college as a Faculty as one of the youngest hired professors in Berklee's history, similar to what happened Pat Metheny and Esperanza Spalding.
Versatile on the guitar, the piano alongside his captivating voice, Martin Guas' music and his lyrical writing are deeply rooted in Latin America's folk. With contemporary productions influenced by his current environment in the United States, he brings his music to the present.
Over the last few years, Martin has shared the stage, recorded and composed with renowned musicians such as John Legend, Larry Klein, Natalia Lafourcade, Armando Manzanero, Kurt Elling, Javier Limón Lee Oskar, Zakiya Hooker and many others.
In 2015 he released his first album Versátil, and during 2020-2021 he has presented to the world three singles: ''En esta carta'' , ''Hoy te vas'' and his contribution to the nowadays social justice issues ''CREO'', which has created an enormous reaction from his audience. PBS and WNET were captivated by Martin's work and right now they are on the making process of a mini documentary about his artistic journey, as one of the most promising Latino artist of his generation.
